Description

Valacyclovir 1000mg Tablet is a composition name of vaxovir, which is used to treat infections that are caused by herpes viruses in adults. It is also used in the treatment of cold sores in children who are at least 12 years old, or chickenpox in children who are at least 2 years old. Valacyclovir is an antiviral drug, which makes hard for the herpes virus to multiply in our body but it does not kill it completely.

Direction of use 

  • You can take this drug with or without food. Taking it with food may help reduce any upset stomach.
  • Take on-time doses of this tablet as prescribed by the doctor.
  • Drink plenty of water while on treatment with this medicine. This helps to prevent dehydration and kidney damage.

How to store Valacyclovir Tablets?

  • Store valacyclovir at room temperature between 59°F and 77°F (15°C and 25°C).
  • Keep this drug away from light.
  • Don’t store this medication in moist or damp areas, such as bathrooms.
