1-DM Tablet is a combination of two drugs, Desloratadine and Montelukast, that are used to treat allergies-related sneezing and runny nose. Desloratadine is an antiallergic that works by blocking the activity of histamine, a chemical messenger that causes runny noses, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is an anti-leukotriene drug. It operates by preventing another chemical messenger from acting (leukotriene). This relieves symptoms by reducing inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose.
